FIREARMS SAFETY COURSE

This is a free course and designed for those that are wanting to apply for their firearms licence. For those that are interested in firearm safety are also welcome although those getting their licence will be prioritised. Spaces are limited to 15 so get in quick!

MARCH 8TH 2025

The firearms safety workshop, free for rural communities, organised by Tamara from Wāhine Outdoors, was the first in the South Island and took place in our hometown Tapawera. Over a productive two days, two groups successfully completed their firearms safety course, which is essential for obtaining a license.
